"We Won't Leave Until We Feel Like It"-RSTC To UG Students

  In a recent negotiation UGSRC had with RSTC (UG shuttle service providers), there was an agreement to the effect that, the Shuttle service providers will maintain the number of shuttles that were operating last semester and equally reduce the fare. Even though the latter was done, the former hasn't been implemented yet.

  The CEO of RSTC has decided to operate only two busses while he park the rest. When he was called to speak on the topic. He stated emphatically that, this is being done to force students to accept the increment in the shuttle service which they relentlessly fought against.

  He further highlighted how cruel and selfish autonomy in business can be, by stating that the decision to leave or cancel the service they provide for UG students is their singular responsibility and that they will only do so if they feel like it.

  This insensitive posture of the CEO has forced many to question the terms and conditions that were captured in the contract which was signed between RSTC and the school. Because it appears that they have maximum autonomy and they are proudly exploiting it.
