Nana Top Kay in an interview with Diane of Kumasi FM some months ago unveiled to the general public his intention to release a song he wishes to title ‘Fake Prophets’. In the interview, he buttressed his assertion of tagging some prophets ‘fake’ by openly stating some names of these prophets and dared them to come and clear the mess if they thought he had marred their reputation. Funnily, none went. He officially releases the track today.
The motive behind this track according to Top Kay is that these prophets are contributing massively to the rampant unending crimes Ghana is bedeviled with.
These prophets implant in the minds of people that they can use informal ways to acquire wealth. They fornicate, use dubious ways to take money from innocent people, create confusion among love ones, publicly insult the smaller gods but secretely have skeletons in their cupboards, always prophesy about the death of personalities, are devil in disguise, among others. Top Kay tells them to come to Mampong Akuapem since they claim they can heal the blind and also warns them that their cup will be full soon.
