After he released his track that featured guru, ‘Oyonko Bone’, rumor mongers considered it to be a 'diss' song. Whilst others said the song aimed at dissing Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, others said it was to apologize to the ‘kumawood stars’ that saw his earlier track ‘motan me' from their perspective as a 'diss' song.
When Nana Top Kay was being asked by Diane of Kumasi FM in an interview, the motive behind his ‘Oyonko Bone’ song, he said it was from a personal experience. To him, he thought the nose doesn't stand unconcerned when the eyes are crying but a friend made him to know that the chicken is not arrested for the crime committed by the snake.
The song according to him, is with the aim of advising all people within and outside Ghana to be careful with friends.
He therefore entreats every lady to be vigilant with those they confide in as friends and disclose their secrets to because they can be betrayed at any time. Beware that in prosperity you will have friends but in adversity you will have no friends.
