A significant number of people want extraordinary lives. Children of this day and age cannot be sidelined because they have already figured out what they desire to become in the future.
Success, I believe, cannot be likened to ripen mangoes of which one could easily get access to simply by plucking. Success takes effort. It takes determination, positive mindset and above all, the willingness to take a step- An INITIATIVE, to sow seeds and the patience to water and monitor them grow.
Initiative means seeing that something needs to be done and starting it. It means taking the first step rather than waiting for someone. The great thing about initiative is that, it is free and available to you and I. 
Why not be that exceptional employee who is constantly alert for ways to make something work better as well as volunteering to take ownership for getting it done? Why not be that diligent student who always does her assignment on time, prepares for lectures and researches the subject matter in advance, digs in and immerses herself in the topic at hand? Why not be that lovely husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend who constantly finds ways to spice up his or her relationship by always being the first to make peace and surprise the other?
The former president of America, Barack Obama, once expressed, ” The best way not to feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Do not wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope”.
Now what simple action could you take today to produce a new momentum towards success in your life? I challenge you to get up and get busy!
