The first contigent of pilgrims from Ghana to Saudi Arabia landed safely last night at the Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madina.
The flight which took off yesterday afternoon from the Tamale Airport carrying 435 pilgrims touched down around 11:45 pm local time.
Ghana's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Sheikh T.B. Damba was at the airport with Mission and Consulate staff as well as officials of the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana to welcome the first batch of Ghanaian pilgrims to Saudi.
