A recent campaign that has hit social media so hard is a campaign tagged 'RSTC MUST GO' . The campaign has seen massive sharing on twitter and other social media handles. Further enquiries suggests that RSTC is the company that is in charge of providing shuttle service or transportation needs of the students at University of Ghana.
Time with some inflencial students and Activists of University of Ghana revealed that RSTC has taken them for granted for far too long. According to them, their minds are made up and will stop at nothing to kick them out if they don't review the fare downwards. It has been said that the autonomy being enjoyed by RSTC is getting to them so much that they increase fares without any serious consultation of the consumers or end users.
As such, they are calling on administration and managers of the shuttle services to either reduce the fare drastically or terminate their contract.
They were firm to indicate that if all remedies fail, they will massively hit the street. They are therefore calling on all sympathizers and students of the premier university or any other organization to join hand with them as they fight this honorable course.
