A
35-year-old man in Uwaila, has been arrested by
the police in Edo state for allegedly shooting his wife with two
children on Sunday, January 13th, over alleged infidelity.
According
to reports, the deceased wife had earlier on Sunday, accused her
husband of keeping numerous concubines. They had an argument at their
home in Ovbiogie after she allegedly threatened to also keep a boyfriend
if he (the husband) does not stop committing adultery.
Things
degenerated so fast with the suspect storming out of his home. Shortly
after, he returned with a gun which he used to kill his wife and their
sons.
He has been handed over to the police.
The remains of the deceased persons have been deposited in the morgue.
