I haven't been busier. Meeting business leaders to discuss their needs and how IMANI can collaboratively help while getting support for it. Today, was sobering. One very famous beverage manufacturer and producer poured his heart out to me and my team.- He didn't understand why he'd be paying almost 50% in over all taxes, levies and general business costs while he is being urged to be productive. He employs 2000+ employees and wonders why he'd to pay taxes that currently seem to be feeding an education policy that in his own words is only a recipe for ' recruiting many unskilled students into mass unemployment'. We spoke about 1D1F and he was emphatic that we risk high failure and that the best way for government to show commitment to industrial growth is to support existing private sector-driven manufacturers to expand and cater for the hundreds of thousands of unemployed and unemployable graduates and diplomates. It is important for the financial managers of this country to listen to these real enterprenuers and just maybe we can reorder some of the political promises to cater for the hens that actually lay the golden eggs.
I will be meeting and speaking to many many business owners and management of formal institutions in the country and will tell you the parts that you need to know.

By the way we still need to applaud the central bank for its daring role in cleaning the mess in the financial system. But we must know everything. I just received a mortifying call from two University professors who wanted to find out from me why McOttley Capital would not respond to their request to call their investments after 3 months of màturity. They have a combined investment of GHS 130,000 at a promised interest of 27% ( really😎). They cannot even trace their relationship managers. I promised to find out. Now, if you know any one closer to McOttley Capital, please let them know. I can provide the names of the University dons.

Finally, I am also hearing that the planned renegotiated AMERI power deal has been put on hold. We need to hear authoritatively from the Energy Ministry. I think it is also unfair to çall the president directly corrupt when there is no hard evidence. And can members of government unhappy about the Finance Minister's comments on education financing be civil in their disagreement with him?

Please sleep well.

Da yie.
