Dear Wife,
Today I choose to pay homage due you
Through thick and thin, you remained my pillar,
Ever since we exchanged our vows at the alter
Years have flown by, yet the love you've shown never alters
All I recall is the joy,
You've brought forth,
Ever since we got together
We've come a long way and our bond grows stronger

This seed you've conceived, is our testimony
The milestone of how far we've come in this unknown journey
Your teeth whiter than snow showed,
And tears flowed as your eyes glowed,
When the doctor broke the good news to you
I knew thence your pride of womanhood was complete
As I toast in your honor, I pray this may be the first of many

Dear Unborn Child,
Your mother already grows jealous,
Knowing she has to share my love with you
Though life is so rough and though lately,
We promise to shield you from all of life's dangers
Never for once will I forsake my fatherly duties
Even when I do not have a penny,
Taking care of you, will always be my utmost priority


I'll treat you like the most valuable pearl
Well brought up with the values of love and kindness
Woe unto that fever that will try to make you sick,
Robbing you of happiness and peace
I'll rain my anger so it flees immediately
I'm preparing to receive the insults from your mum during her labour
Can't wait to hear you wail when you finally enter this world,
For I'll know a legend has arrived and everything was worth it
